Community Notice – Canadian Parents for French

We are posting this information to our blog at the request of our partner group Canadian Parents for French…

NOW is the time to join Canadian Parents for French. Their membership drive not only offers a chance to win great prizes – it also reminds us of all the great reasons to join CPF including access to great information, resources and fun stuff like summer camps!

Did you know that 80% of the CPF membership fee is returned to our Sooke Chapter in activities that benefit your children?  That money is spent on SD 62 initiatives like the public speaking contest (concours d’art oratoire), socio-cultural events for our kids and more.

Why should you and your family join? In addition to receiving provincial and national newsletters keeping you informed about French second language issues, you will receive discounts with reputable providers of French language products and services, and access to member-only events such as summer camps. But really, you should join because you care about your child’s education.  Your membership gives CPF a stronger voice to advocate for access to quality FSL education with ministers and administrators at the national and provincial/territorial levels and with school boards in your community. Join for only $25/year or $60/3 years.
